The Push Band is a wireless wearable device that measures movement velocity via the use of a 3D accelerometer and a 3D Gyroscope. The Push Band can be used to collect key performance data for over 250 exercises, all at the push of a button. The Push Band allows coaches instantly monitor fatigue and readiness by being able to identify reductions in movement velocity or power output (Wattage). The push band has been scientifically proven to be as valid and reliable as a Linear Position Transducer (Balsalobre-Fernández et al, 2016,).
Sensors 6 DoF inertial measurement unit consisting of:
Collected at 1000Hz
Built-in rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery
1.5 hour full charge cycle
50% charge after 30 minutes
7 hours continuous motion recording
12 days charge retention while powered down
Power consumption: 50 mA during charging
20 ft. range
Size & Weight
Height: 77.5mm (3in)
Width: 55.3mm (2in)
Depth: 15mm (0.6in)
Weight: 32g (1.1oz)
The bar sleeve can be attached to the barbell to allow for seemless group training. For example, three athletes training in a group for bench, squat, cleans, deadlifts etc. can do set after set, straight after each other. All you have to do is press Start and Stop either on the device itself or on your phone/tablet. It is so simple! Now with the new V2 PUSH Band, everyone can assess bar velocity & power (or jumping height) to monitor training adaptations and make informed decisions regarding immediate or future training content rather than just rely simply on sets, reps and weight data! Velocity & power measurement no longer needs to be the domain of the high level Strength & Conditioning working in Pro & elite Olympic sports with big budgets!
Push Waist Belt: Interested in tracking jump squats and countermovement jumps without using our jumps protocol? This waist band is for you. Our PUSH Band slides right on this waist band and you can use it to track jump exercises.
Push Portal: The Push Band is compatible with Push Portal. The Portal closest thing to coach actually being there. The PUSH Portal allows you to make quicker and more informed programming decisions by giving you a look at the big picture. Track your athlete’s progress over time with exportable historical data
