Nick Winkleman, IRFU Head of Athletic Performance explains how the performance players are striving for needs to be protected between sessions.

The Recovery Room provides a quiet space to allow the players to manage their own recovery & regeneration before and after sessions, and inevitably improve their performance.

"We’ve been using Normatec compression as part of our recovery strategy this season. It has been a huge asset to our senior panel squad in helping to keep legs fresh and players performing at a high standard.

Player compliance with protocols has also been high due to its ease of application."
